samsung Ativ Book 9 Plus - review

Alright so we all heard about Samsung's "Series 9  laptops" and yes they really are awesome!

More and more people were turning away from the series 9 because of the lack of a touch screen but   Samsung has taken us all by surprise by adding one and improving the resolution exponentially (3,200 by 1,800) this is a truly great resolution for gaming.

With the addition of a processor that does more and uses less this is truly a laptop I'm proud to own, the price is steep but worth it if this will be your next main pc.

Way modern!

Good: awesome screen (touch), slim, light, great battery life (yes really).

Bad: not a tablet (so?), mini hdmi, expensive!

If you're fine with expensive get it!

Google Chromecast - review

Very compact.

Good: Very cheaply priced, available services include netflix, youtube, google music,  google tv and movies. Compact, you can use tablets as remotes, travel ready.

Bad: Screen mirroring doesn't work well, no default remote(big minus), no amazon instant, hbo go, mlb.tv, spotify or Rdio.

At $35 it's cheap, compact and I'm sure Google will make it better soon or release a better version soon.

Amazon Kindle Fire HDX 7 - review

Great price!

Good: very fast and faster still when used with the web, the screen is 1080p but it's rather small so you won't notice the difference much, light, compact.

Bad: ad removal for the remote view is $15, remote viewing feature needs a lot of work, not enough space for full 1080p movies and no sd card slot, buttons are harder to use then on most tablets, the screen is slightly yellow (I don't think you'll notice it), no google play store so you're limited in the app department.

Being linked to amazon this much is a very useful thing for ebook lovers. I'm sure you can wait till the next version or buy this one it's worth the price.

Origin Chronos - review

Love it!

Good: overclocked, tidy package, built for gaming.

Bad: bad for gamers that like multiple monitors.

If you use your computer for gaming like me then this is the computer for you, even with the price tag.

Bose quiet comfort 15 - review

Best headphones ever!

The good:  Very comfortable, great sound, noise cancelling is out of this world,, folding system in place and you can try them for 30 days risk free!

The bad: Very pricy,  do not work without battery!,  no in line volume control on these headphones.

They are expensive but totally worth every penny!  I don't think you'll regret buying them, and you can spend the leftover dollar on a pack of gum!

ViewSonic VX2770SMH-LED 27-Inch IPS LED Monitor - review

Great for the price.

Good: Big screen, modern look, good color, speakers, sharp picture, three year warranty, light, easy assembly/ disassembly, nice menu, great software, hdmi, vga, audio in/ out.

Bad: Screen seems dark.  But compared to other screens it's very bright.

I've been using it for five months now   and it hasn't let me down yet!.

LatLock E70 Running Backpack - review

Positive review for ruggedness, design, and so forth and so on...

I've had this pack for over a year now and I can tell you it's my number one pack and number two possession (the first one being my wallet).

My favorite feature in the lat-lock is it's expandibility, from a slim travel bag to a bug-out bag, it's a truly great feature!

The constriction strapps are just as great,  keeping everything from shifting and moving they are one of the most important elements of this high tec pack.

After traveling through four countries the only thing that looks damaged (not really but it looks like it) is the back inside lip just below the zipper.  The lip's material below the zipper started seperating into strips but that just takes away from it's looks inside (not it's workings).

Overall great backpack! I would recommend it to anyone doing PK,  running or just in need of a great pack!

Ridge front pocket wallet - review

Okay, this is the best thing I have ever and I mean ever spent money on!

Stylish, strong, comfortable, convenient, did I mention how awesome this wallet is?

The good: strong materials, great look, up to six cards fit inside, RFID blocking, can't feel it in my pocket, money fits if you fold it in to thirds.

The bad: pricey, band looks like it might break but the company said it has been tested for eight months and hasn't broken so whatever.

Okay so it costs way more than any other wallet I've bought but after using it for over four months I can honestly say there is no better wallet then this one!

JLAB JBuds J4M - review

Great set: seven rubber tips, case, earbuds.

The good:solid silicone like rubber, very sound proof, tangle proof, strong case, loud and clear.

The bad:no volume control on the earbud itself - didn't expect there to be one, but it is a negative.

Notes: the gray smoke color is awesome.   I had them tested by my musician friend who said they were as good as his custom molded three hundred buck bose buds.

Great pair of buds and they really are as strong as they seem, I stopped hearing any sound from the left one and got mad because I loved these buds!  So I swung them at objects to unclog them and so it went for a month. I eventually took the bud off and the metal grating and discovered it was plugged with wax I removed it reassembled the buds and they worked as if they were never abused!!!

able planet Sound Clarity® NC550BC - review

These headphones turned out to be a massive disappointment.

The good:

Sound: quality is good, high pitches lack a bit but not enough to be an inconvenience.

Case: a strong cardboard or some such lined with a polyester like material, it's actually pretty good as far as an headphone case, served me well.

Cable: a bit delicate other then that I haven't had any problems.

Looks: the headphones fold so you can listen to them without them being on your ears.  They look good enough.

The bad:

The noise canceling only removed repetitive sounds:
dishwasher, washing machine, the sound of an plane.
It didn't however remove: voices and footsteps.

Padding: comfortable at first but about twenty minutes later you can feel the plastic pressing around the ears, ears get lightly sweaty, the headphones also get generally uncomfortable.

Battery life: only lasts around eight hours, not enough for me, but you decide!

Notes: After six months usage the left side broke from normal wear.
