Motorola Droid Maxx review

5.5
When I opened my mailbox and saw the box lying there, I almost got a hart attack!
Nothing could keep me from running home and ripping the package open.

This smartphone has one of the crispest screens I have ever seen.  The colors are amazing, the brightness is great for outdoor usage and it around three times the resolution at 5 inches (1,280x720 pixels)

If you have ever touched carbon fiber you would know that the large price charged is completely  worth is but not needed, if Motorola used a different finish but charged less for the device I would be more than satisfied.

Motorola really thought through the hardware they packed into this phone and probably the reason the Droid Maxx is so energy efficient.  The one core 1.7ghz and two gigs of ram work together to give you speed without lugging a charger around.

The built in 32gb are just the amount of storage you need in an android phone, but if you want more you're out of luck because Maxx lacks a storage slot.  The Maxx has an almost unaltered android operating system, I love that fact because it speeds the phone up by bypassing bloatware and looks great!

The main camera with a 10-megapixel main camera really does something to enlarge your picture taking habit, the front 2-megapixel camera is decent even in low life settings.

Voice control is useful and very polished on the maxx, it's great for people that don't want to touch their phone in a restaurant, and for non techies.

Overall highly recommend this phone but it will rip a large hole in that money carrying device you call a wallet.

samsung Ativ Book 9 Plus - review

Alright so we all heard about Samsung's "Series 9  laptops" and yes they really are awesome!

More and more people were turning away from the series 9 because of the lack of a touch screen but   Samsung has taken us all by surprise by adding one and improving the resolution exponentially (3,200 by 1,800) this is a truly great resolution for gaming.

With the addition of a processor that does more and uses less this is truly a laptop I'm proud to own, the price is steep but worth it if this will be your next main pc.

Way modern!

Good: awesome screen (touch), slim, light, great battery life (yes really).

Bad: not a tablet (so?), mini hdmi, expensive!

If you're fine with expensive get it!

Google Chromecast - review

Very compact.

Good: Very cheaply priced, available services include netflix, youtube, google music,  google tv and movies. Compact, you can use tablets as remotes, travel ready.

Bad: Screen mirroring doesn't work well, no default remote(big minus), no amazon instant, hbo go, mlb.tv, spotify or Rdio.

At $35 it's cheap, compact and I'm sure Google will make it better soon or release a better version soon.

Amazon Kindle Fire HDX 7 - review

Great price!

Good: very fast and faster still when used with the web, the screen is 1080p but it's rather small so you won't notice the difference much, light, compact.

Bad: ad removal for the remote view is $15, remote viewing feature needs a lot of work, not enough space for full 1080p movies and no sd card slot, buttons are harder to use then on most tablets, the screen is slightly yellow (I don't think you'll notice it), no google play store so you're limited in the app department.

Being linked to amazon this much is a very useful thing for ebook lovers. I'm sure you can wait till the next version or buy this one it's worth the price.

Origin Chronos - review

Love it!

Good: overclocked, tidy package, built for gaming.

Bad: bad for gamers that like multiple monitors.

If you use your computer for gaming like me then this is the computer for you, even with the price tag.

Bose quiet comfort 15 - review

Best headphones ever!

The good:  Very comfortable, great sound, noise cancelling is out of this world,, folding system in place and you can try them for 30 days risk free!

The bad: Very pricy,  do not work without battery!,  no in line volume control on these headphones.

They are expensive but totally worth every penny!  I don't think you'll regret buying them, and you can spend the leftover dollar on a pack of gum!
